Ready for action after a long, long day of glassing...more photos to come soon...maiden voyage in the morning.

Glassed with 8oz volan all over; stringers are 2x 1/2" cedar.  Ice9 Cane (sugar based) foam, and Silmar Eco resin which I've been using for the past few weeks...its SUPER clear and really strong, plus its said to have no VOC's...gee whiz!

Glasson 1/2" thick fin, hand foiled with a glass flex tip...been wanting to make this style of fin for a long long time and finally got to go for it.  photos of that one very soon as well!

I have a new soul mate.

Oh Darlin', What Have I Done?

I had a very vague vision of what I wanted when I started this one yesterday, but a 100000% solid idea of what I want her to do.

After riding some standard san diego gliders I knew this one had to be different to make the most of the waves I want to use it in (knee to head high points here in SB)...so its very safe to say she only resembles other gliders in planshape; otherwise........there is now a 10' 11 1/4" hull waiting for a nice little pocket to show me what real glide is.

more descriptive photos very very soon...but for now, I'm gonna go play with resin and wood fins.

A Day At The Races

Today's agenda went as so:

Shape 2 unbelievably bladey hulls

Eat Pizza with the Albers, Lightner, Trevor and Morgan

Watch Albers make a peanut butter sandwich

Pack up Ice Cream fish, Vampire Hull and Dead Sled; and go for a surf when the wind died wit Albers...rinse and repeat tomorrow:

Mid-month reminder!

Just wanted to throw out a reminder to everyone, and a note to anyone who didn't catch it the first time around;

This month's bro-deal board is the She hull, 'till the end of this month custom She's are 'trimmed' (get it? hulls...trim...trimmed...get it?? ha!) down to $450.
