FACEBOOK MANIA! OMFG!!!

Hey all you cool guys and gals!

Some of you are already well aware, but, for those of you who haven't found it yet; There is now a Point Concept Surfboards Facebook page for you to talk about how dreamy Edward Cullen is, and discuss your favorite Highschool Musical tunes, or Hannah Montana's latest adventures (does she have adventures? i don't even know...but i digress).

other topics of interest may include something funny that your dog did today, did he/she make a funny face?  That could happen...then you could discuss it openly on the new facebook page, and not feel weird about it, because we're all understanding people.

Hey, as long as it brightened your day, it's all good...or maybe you wanna post a review of a board of mine, there should be a few out there these days, but thats up to you; either way, looky looky:

or go to http://www.Facebook.com and type Point Concept Surfboards into the search thingymajigger!

It Happened.

Swooooosh

Tre-Gor sliding around on a 5'5" Timberline fishy...the wood board side of my shaping has been really fun lately, lots of cool boards heading overseas.

The shaped blanks (paulownia and foam) are coming in at about 5 lbs, the finished boards with quad lokboxes and glass fins are weighing about 7.5-8 lbs.

I rode Raph's new 6'1 stub yesterday and it kinda freaked me out how well it surfed, his was done with a new foam and it floated me and paddled better than a normal pu/pe board at that size...super stoked on it!

Dreamin' of a White Weekend

Brandon D. came by to hang out yesterday and watch me shape his board; a 6'3" x 22" x 2 3/4" fished out hull hybrid...he's got some camera skills and sent me this shot (among others) that i thought was really cool.

My daily driver is a 6'9" of this same shape; a pretty pulled in nose and slightly accelerated rocker, and a double to single concave inside the belly give it TONS of versatility and glide for such a short rail line.

Home-age

Vacation was good to me...family outings, big fish, girlfriend picking gargantuan zucchini, and Joe feeding sessions...never forget where you came from :)

Mas Spoonage

Taylor came down while I was building my spoon and built an edgeboard along side me, so we could both share in the joy of intense fiberglass itch and extreme foam waste. He took his board home to finish 'er off and sent me some pictures last week of the new happy couple enjoying the flowers of the northlands...stoked!

The Right Tools

Sorry for the lack in posting lately, vacation/lack of waves/nearly finished new boards has held me up the past few days...will have copious amounts of board porn in a couple days :)
