Hulls and Size

Nick has been pushing his blade and his fishy into some real waves for quite a little while now, pretty dang proud of the guy, he's got a lot of cojones for some of the shit he pulls off on 'em.

Brandon and Nick work quite a bit together and turn out some of my favorite pics of my hulls in motion.

PC's Third Stage on Korduroy!

Guess what time it is everyone?

MOVIE TIME! f*ck YEAH!

Been slaving away all week on thise 6 minute chunk of stuff, and Cyrus Sutton was kind enough to post it up with a little interview on Korduroy.tv.

There's lots of surfing going on in it, even some footage of Nick riding the Flex Spoon that I made for Jonny.

The video has Connor Lyon, Ross Bushnell, Kyle Albers, Nick Cook and Pete Surprenant, all shredding away on some of my boards over the past week of waves...lots of 4:30am departure times went into this and I think it payed off.

What I think payed off even more was the time I put into Stage III, the thing goes OFF. So much natural speed its ridiculous, I'm sussing out a new fin for it, you can see it slide a little and send Nick into the shallows later on into the video...gotta fix that :)

Aside from that though, Ross was stylin' on it and taking it to warp 10 around 2:02, and Connor getting some spring in his step around 1:40. Also keep a very close eye on how it loads up through the second session, being in a more tense wave put a lot of strain on the board and made it visibly warp which made me a very happy camper!

Oldschool

Swanson shot this of my girlfriend Stephanie and I checking out an old Lis fish that he had brought up for me to check out...the thing was amazing, supposedly a very very early board in the Lis timeline. The thing has a full on S-deck and pinched, down rails...It amazed me how similar it was to my favorite everyday board, I've had it forever and never named it, it's been magic for me since day 1:

Full hully bottom with a deep single to double concave out through the tail, I shaped this bottom for the first time about two years ago and have used it on every personal board since (aside from my bladed hulls)...super fun, I got some sweet footage of Connor on it the other day!

Got the board monday. I LUV IT!!!

Got a chance to surf wind'and'sea yesterday and today. Yesterday was head high, today shoulder. I really luv how it feels and surfs. SO FAST and FUNKY! SOULFULL.

Everybody stares at it :)
