For Troy Mothershead

8'2" x 22" x 3" v.Bowls with a pintail borrowed from my Sherbert template.

Utilizing the powers of the real oldschool teachings de Gregg Tally along with some lovely pastels to give a little extra flavor.  Abstracts weren't done in the glass back in the day; they possess this
other-worldly depth that you can't get when done in the lam.
Real acid splashes are the go for me at the moment:

This is the feel I'm feeling right now.
I'm so madly in love.

and that's all I have to say about THAT one!

What Happens When...

...You take a v.Bowls and chop it to 7'4" x 21" x 2 7/8", pull the tail in close to 2" and put the most cosmic wide-point-back curves you can muster into the deck?

Something like an ultra-shreddy spaceship of a surfboard:

Then what if Gregg Tally taught you how to do the REAL old-school acid-abstracts?

I'm beyond myself with this style of abstract, the limits of it are so intriguing and unfathomable to me right now. A whole new can of worms has been opened for me and my obsession with colors and textures.

Trip out. This board lives at Wetsand Surfshop for now, I'm sure it won't sit for long so if you're curious to lose yourself into the depth of this board's deck, go check it out:

Seriously...zoom in, the details are a total mindf*ck.

Foils for Sale

Got a couple unique ones up for grabs as of yesterday...wanted to share them and offer 'da bloggers 1st go at 'em!

Acid splashy top (blue pigment and red dot bottom) on one of my favorite Hullibuts in a while.

Clean white pigment/bright green dot combo She Hull with a sweet thin foil, and a 5'4 Fishysim...this is a real unique one:
