Feb's Bro board

I seem to have a lot of new viewers and people checking on on the blog lately so I thought I'd throw out a reminder that every month I like to focus on one board thats been stoking people out lately and sell them at a bro-deal-y price so more people can get their hands on 'em.

So with THAT said, for February, I present you with the Gull...between 5'8 and 6'5, the template was traced from an original greenough velo template, then tweaked a little here and there for standup purposes...very pinched rails, full hull bottom and heavy s-deck; the most recently shaped of these boards was Jonny's Lalo; his original Sutho also stems from this design.

Steve H. and his 6'3

Jonny's new (also) 6'3

common dimensions are 6'3" x 22" x 2 7/8"
For feb, they're goin' for $450 clear sanded finish, Ice9 CANE foam and 6oz glass; turnaround time is less than 5 weeks as usual.
(also VERY fun when stringerless...just an idea...)

The Greatfhull Sled

She-Hull II...Kyle L.'s new stringerless stick; dubbed the Gratefhull Sled:

She Hull + round tail - rail volume (for anyone who's seen She Hull, you know how bladey this one it).
The O.G. She hull is still in full rotation and being very warmly received by everyone who's set foot on her; and coming to a beach near you very soon...

Morsels

One can't be in love EXCLUSIVELY with surfing...I have other interests as well!
My old project (now sold)...bought it barely running and spent a few months stripping it down and rebuilding; even shaped/glassed the tail section just to make it really hard on myself.

Hand foiled baltic birch glassons:

Glossed and polished to the max!!!

Resin dart pinline...ultra oldschool.

It's been a while since I got to put ALL of the bells and whistles into one board...hand built wood glassons, resin pinline/dart, ultra gloss/polish, finbox pull-through AND a mailing job across the country...now THAT is how you build a surfboard!

What if the moon were made of barbeque spare ribs?

would you eat it then?

Barrel Hunting

I just got a short email from our buddy Bryan down in LA after riding his Barrel Hunter for the last two days...long story short I think we have a winner :)

"Also, I rode the board today and yesterday. It was amazing. You put it on the rail, and just stick with it. There were times where I didn't think there was anyway I was going to make the barrel, and then the next thing I know I'm kicking out and paddling for the next one. I'll put a detailed review on the blog once Jonna gets the pics uploaded - but you are a FUCKING MASTERMIND in terms of shaping! I'm soooooooooooooo stocked."

Scored.

No photoshopping out people...this was literally the crowd we surfed with for 7 hours today:

She

I wanted to post this last night but my internet at home is down, so without further ramblings, i give you the She Hull:

7' x 22 1/2" x 2 3/4" Diamond tail hull, she's quite the blade...

This board will be surfed by our crew up here, then sent south to LA and then orange county to make the rounds down there...we'll see where She ends up after that!
