I wanted to send out a quick thank you for all of the support on the new site; it's been noted that the pelican is missing in action and I thought I'd take this chance to clarify a couple of things.
After starting, running and shaping Point Concept Surfboards for the past few years, I've decided to move on and move out from under an official "brand". My growth within and around the realm of surfcraft building is still and will always be in-progress and I feel as though it's time for me to move along. The company was being directed in ways that I didn't agree with; machine shaping, hiring finish shapers, and then outsourcing the entirety of the glassing is not and never was my direction with my work and when it comes down to it, I can't chose to lead my life by that example.
I love and loved Point Concept, it's my (short) life's work and is my pride and joy alongside each physical surfboard that I have the privilege to build, the choice to part with it was not easy or in haste and has been months in process.
I've been getting a lot of emails the past few days about the changes and am glad that everyone is so stoked on it, it feels like a bit of a gamble but surfboards are and always will be what it's about...and I do still know how to build those :)

good on yuh.
Shit....was my PC sled machine shaped? I don't wanna think it was. It's a smoking board. I'll continue to think of it as a one off and hand shaped by a pioneer !!
Good luck with whatever is next.
cheers, Clayton from Oz
hey clayton!
your board wasn't machine shaped, and thats why i've moved on. I was being asked by my partners to do that and I wasn't cool with it, rest easy!
