TG | Fush

I've been getting a lot of questions about the Fush lately, it hasn't been my most featured board but I sure love to shape 'em and watching t.Rev ride his is a pleasure.

It's a pretty complex board both top and bottom, but in a nutshell it's usually got a flat front foot area and a concave deck on the back foot, with turned down rails and lots of hard edge. the bottom is a slightly vee'd nose transferring into a triplane middle with either a single or double concave depending on the fin setup for each particular board. The rocker is pretty flat through the back 2/3 of the board but has a nice lift in the nose for ultra shred capabilities.

Morgo Maassen shot the first two pics, Michael Kew got the warm-water one below...look for a few more from that session popping up somewhere epic shortly ;)

Phat P1gz

5'8" x 19 7/8ish x 2 1/2ish...Trevor and I have been wanting to make a high performance twin for a while now after we built the Fush, so here she is! Trevor dubbed it the Piggybacker.

I like flowing curves so I didn't make any extreme wings or bumps in the outline, a subtle pull that that does what you are after [to me] is much more challenging but offers a drastically smoother line on the wave:

T has been doing bunches of paintings lately inspired by tribal/native american art, super cool stuff, I now own a shirt that he painted with two dudes roasting one kine pig on a fire. win.

t.Rev's Down Unda'

Two of the pile of boards I shaped in Byron Bay a few weeks back; 2 + 1 t.Rev's.
One severely foiled out (think shortboard-esque foil), the other foiled like the orig. t.Rev (thicker tail/nose)

Over @ Six Ounce Board Store in Manly, NSW.

and a bonus...Trevor on the Fush (higher perf. foiled out/triplane twin fish) in the new Surfer Magazine via the ever vigilant Morgo Maassen :

Surfer's Journal

Go snag a copy of the new Surfer's Journal...Trevor's reppin' and rippin' on the ThrougHull in India with Craig Anderson, Chad Konig and company, written by Michael Kew and documented by Alan Van Gysen:

On the througHull.

Having the opportunity to consistently have a surfer like Trevor ride and report on my work is surreal, but having him as a close friend is the icing on the cake. So here's to you and congratulations Mr.Gordon on all you've achieved in your past few years...I have no idea what you're capable of and I can't wait to find out, and thank you for piloting my vehicles into the pages of the best surf magazine in existence!

YYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!

Wouldn't You Love to Love Her

Gullets, OGs, a Velosim, and two sweet Fush(s?):
Glassed by Jeff Hull with Entropy Resins Super-Sapp [a sap based, eco resin], and shaped from recyclable EPS foam...progress, indeed!

I'm really impressed with the resin especially, it has a nice twang to it that feels like a middle ground between poly and epoxy. PLUS it's a true 'eco-resin' from a company that seems to really get what we're all after, which makes me all giddy.
