The first time I shaped a custom board was for a complete (at the time) stranger, named Hiten...I told him he was more than welcome to hang out while I built his board and ask questions and take photos; so he snapped away, and I shaped with my stomach in knots, hoping not to fuck up...
Shaping barefoot since day 1:
Since then a lot of things have changed, and a lot of things have stayed the same...I will forever be indebted to that first experience.
